USING THE WEBSITE
How do I register as a customer? You must be
authorised as a registered customer in order to view prices and order via the
website. To create an account: go to the first catalogue page and go to Login
Here on the right hand side of the page. Click on the Sign In button
above Create An Account. Under New Customer click the Continue button.
Complete the online application form providing all details including your
company or business name. (NB. only customers with a registered business name
will be authorised to use the site). Click Continue at the bottom of the page;
you will then reach a screen with the heading Your Account Has Been Created;
press Continue.
Please make a note of the email address and password you used to register as
you will need these to log in.
Authorisation may take up to 2 working days for your account to be
approved by us. We will notify you by email as soon as you are authorised and
therefore registered as a customer.
How do I view prices and order on the site?
Register as a customer (see above). Log in to your account by clicking the
link log yourself in under returning customer. Enter exactly the same email
address and password that you used when registering (the computer is case
sensitive) and click Sign In. You will be welcomed and your personal account
will open. Alternatively, you can log in by entering your email address
and password under Login Here on the right hand side of the page.
What do I do if I forget my password? If you
forget your password you can request, via the site, to be sent a new one. Do
this by clicking on the link Password Forgotten? Click Here. You will be asked
to enter your email address. The computer will send you a new password via
email. (NB. Do not ask Look East Australia for a new password - this is
generated by the computer and is not known by us).
How do I order? An order is made by
collecting items in your shopping cart and then checking out. You may
wish to begin by looking through new items, or you may wish to see, for example,
only necklaces or bracelets, or perhaps only those items which are primarily
blue, or pink. On the other hand you might know exactly which items you want to
(re)order. (See below for how to search for items on the website).
Once you have decided you want to order an item, simply click on the Buy
Now button beside the picture. (If you wish to see an enlarged picture,
click on the image, then click the Add to Cart button if you wish to
order the item). (The picture can also be further by enlarged by clicking
on this image). Either the Buy Now or Add to Cart button will
place one of this item in your shopping cart (you can see a summary of what is
in the cart under the heading Shopping Cart on the right hand side of the
page). To specify the quantity of an item ordered, go to your shopping
cart by clicking the arrow beside the Shopping Cart heading. You will then be
able to see your complete order, including the total amount spent (exclusive of
GST).
Simply type the number you wish to order in the qty box against each item. It
is also possible to remove any item from your shopping cart at this stage.
When your order is complete, click Checkout. You will be taken to
a page requesting your shipping address. There is also the opportunity here to
add any notes or comments relating to the order.
Click Confirm and you will then be asked to specify the payment method
you will be using (credit card or cheque/money order), If you are paying by
credit card, you will be asked to provide your credit card details. Click
Confirm again and this will display all details of your order, including
amount spent plus GST. Click Confirm Order and your order will be sent
to Look East Australia for processing.
Dont forget to log out of your account when you have finished rather
than simply closing the screen click Log Off on in the Login Here box on
the side of the screen.
Can I see previous orders I
have made? Yes. Click on My Account at the top of the
page. This will show a list of your previous orders. Click on any of these
to display details of the order.
Can I easily see new products? Yes, you can
click on the link new products in the welcoming sentence. You can also
click on Whats New on the left of the page. Also the pictures displayed
on the first page are the newest items (including recently re-stocked
items).
Is every item shown on the website
available? The website is updated every day, but stock changes may
occur in hours. Therefore we cannot absolutely guarantee the availability
of every item shown.
Can I leave items in my shopping cart and add to/send the
order later? Yes, you can log out and log back in to your account and
the items placed in your shopping cart will still be there. However, be
aware that if you wait too long before submitting the order, the items ordered
earlier may then be out of stock.
How do I find the items I want to order? There
are several ways you can view items or types of item:
1) To view items by product type: Click on any of the links under the
heading Categories for the type of product you wish to view. This will display
all items in that category, for example bracelets, or reading glasses, or
packaging.
2) To view items by colour: Click on Colour under the Categories
heading. This will show a drop down menu of colours choose one of these and
all items with that colour dominant will be displayed.
3) To view a particular item: Use Quick Find: in the box under the Quick
Find heading on the left of the catalogue page, type in either the code number
or the name of the item you wish to find and click Search. This exact
item only will be shown.
4) To find items with particular descriptive qualities: Click on the
Advanced Search link under Quick Find. In the space available type the
descriptive words you wish to use, eg. ; tick the box Search Product
Descriptions and then click the Search button. Items with the required
description will be displayed (NB. Specific simple descriptive words must be

What are Specials? These are items which are
on sale at approximately 50% discount. New Specials appear every month,
and can easily be found by clicking the arrow by the Specials heading.
What are Clearance items? These are items
(previously Specials) which have been greatly reduced in price and which are
sold in bulk lots. They can be found by clicking Clearance under the
Categories heading. A Clearance Bag is a randomly mixed bag of approximately
20 items. A full range of clearance items is available in any quantity to
customers who visit our warehouse. |
